“Garanzia Giovani” (Youth Guarantee) is the European plan to combat youth unemployment. The European Union has earmarked funding for states with unemployment rates above 25% (and among them is also part of Italy). This money must be invested by each country with training, active policies for guidance, support and assistance for entering the world of work. The aim is to let young people can find a job or a training course within a few months. According to the provisions of the European Recommendation, Italy must be able to guarantee young people a job offer qualitatively valid or assumption with apprenticeship or a training or further education within four months from the start of unemployment or the end of their formal studies, as required by the candidate.
The target audience is young people called NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training): boys and girls who do not work and do not study. They must have an age between 15 and 29 years, residents in Italy – EU citizen or foreign non-EU, legally resident. Specifically, Observo Onus provides work placements thanks to the agreement with the project Youth Guarantee, to ensure a training and professionalizing part of writing projects, europroject management, human resource management, and more.
For each trainer is guaranteed a reimbursement in accordance with the regulations of Youth Guarantee and the Lazio Region on the subject.
